Committed to supporting LASD in its pursuit of excellence and equity.

Because each and every student makes a school great.

School Reopening 2021

Although we've grown tired of the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, we still need to worry about health and safety with regard to COVID 19. The CDC, PA Department of Health, and local healthcare administrators have provided evidence-based guidance to the District, which the administrative team took into account when it revised its health and safety plan.

The health and safety of our schools and the surrounding community are of the utmost importance.
The goal is to preserve in-person learning.

During the 2020-21 school year, LASD administration did a commendable job of keeping students, faculty, and staff safe and our students learned in person more than many other students in the state and nation.

How Will I Make a Difference

as School Director?

As a public school employee working on behalf of English Learner students, I have collaborated with everyone involved in the school support system.  Through daily interactions with teachers, administrators, counselors, and coaches, I've seen the power of schools to positively impact the lives of all students.

Families are a fundamental part of the school support system, as well. That’s why an extra phone call, voice message, or hand-written note home goes a long way to show a school cares and wants to bridge gaps. I believe the perspective I bring in multicultural education will help me to serve LASD in its commitment to be an inclusive learning community that prepares its students for productive lives in a diverse global society.
